As a member of the local community for over 20 years, our passion has always been the health and happiness of our furry friends who come to our clinic. That passion also extends to those pets who have been rescued or surrendered, and need shelter, support, and clinic services.

Whether it's vet services, food & shelter, or volunteer support, Altadena Valley Animal Clinic is dedicated to helping these wonderful organizations care for, and rehome these deserving pets. If you would like more information on how you can adopt or contribute to these non-profit rescues, please click on their website link below or call the clinic at 967-7383.

Altadena Valley Animal Clinic is proud to support the following rescue organizations!

About Birmingham Boston Terrier Rescue

Birmingham Boston Terrier Rescue is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization whose goal is to rescue Boston Terriers and Boston Terrier mixes in need, assess/stabilize their physical/emotional needs, and find the best possible homes for them.  We provide information and support for pet owners in an effort to prevent these dogs from needing rescue in the future.

Finally, we work with other rescue organizations, shelter, and other like-minded groups for the common goal of saving animals and demonstrating the humane treatment of animals.

About Schnauzer Love Rescue

SLR, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit Rescue Organization devoted to finding homes for all Miniature Schnauzers. We help abandoned and unwanted dogs and those whose families need to relinquish their pet. We take great pride in our "Family Match Program" where we place available pets with the family that matches that pet the best. Sometimes it takes more time, more travel, and more work, but it's worth it in the end for the pet and new owner!  Currently, we have 46 wonderful foster homes within the 6 state area to handle the steady flow of minis needing new homes.

We are always happy to provide references from satisfied owners. Want to get involved in rescue? Send us an email schluv4u2@bellsouth.net There is always a need for more volunteers! The dogs thank you and we thank you!
